Xiaobaodang Coal Mine is constructed according to the mode of “one mine, two shafts”. The mine field is located in the phase III planning area of Yushen Mining Area, a large-scale national coal base in northern Shaanxi Province. It covers an area of 220 Km² and has a geological reserves of 4.9 billion tons. Its recoverable reserves are 3 billion tons. Among them, the planned construction scale of No. 1 Coal Mine is 15Mt/a and that of No. 2 Coal Mine is 13 Mt/a.

In June 2018, our company won the bid in the procurement bidding of Shaanxi Xiaobaodang Mining Co., Ltd. “System control, automation, information technology, large screen, fire monitoring and other equipment procurement and installation projects of coal preparation plant dry coal flow production system”.

Leaders of the company attach great importance to the project, and put forward strict requirements from the specific details of design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, software programming, construction organization design, safety technical measures, etc. The employees involved in the project construction work together, actively take initiative, overcome difficulties, create conditions without conditions, and has completed the project node plan of the Owner on time with high quality, and ensured the completion of the fine coal system of the whole line of dry coal flow system on September 3, which has been affirmed by the owners and praised by peer companies.

 In mid-June, tension was felt on the spot before the contract was completely signed. The project owner has repeatedly stressed the seriousness of the construction period. After field investigation, 80% of the mechanical equipment has been installed, and more than 70% of the electrical power projects have been completed. The requirement of the completion of the final coal project on August 30, and commissioning with coal in early September. To complete all these work, the pressure is conceivable.

The difficulties in front of us are not only the shortage of manpower, but also the factors such as the arrival of equipment and materials. When the project department established, each member of the project department has a clear division of labor and responds calmly, carefully planed the transportation of equipment and materials, optimized the construction process, organize the documents for review and compile special measures in the steamer-like color steel construction.

In the early stage of the construction site, it took a week for us to look for temporary housing on site. We did appreciated the owner for coordinating to provide a workshop. Eleven men crowded in the workshop. But we had no complaints, and some said that a bottle of good wine would make the evening better.

The rainy season of Xiaobaodang was like May’s day in the Southern part of China, sometimes the sun was like fire, and sometimes it rained heavily. The three frequency converter placed in the Owner’s open-air cargo yard worried the project department personnel. As long as there was possibility of rain, the project department members will put down their work and try to cover them as soon as possible to ensure that the equipments are “safe”.

The local villagers said that there was no autumn in the Mu Us Desert. In the middle of September, the weather was becoming cold. In order to keep warm, project members filled the biggest gap of the color steel room with foam glue, so that the project members who returned home in the evening could feel the warm in heart.

Xiaobaodang was silent in the middle of the night. Occasionally, if a few figures appear on the vast open construction site, it must be Detong people of Dadi Group who were doing further tests to ensure the reliable operation of the equipment tomorrow. On the temporary sidewalk of the construction site, the returnees full of laughter must also be the Detong people returning with triumph. They are always enthusiastic and energetic, so that all difficulties will be quickly solved.

Although the night of Mu Us Mid-Autumn is cold, it can not hide the enthusiasm and passion of everyone. All the members of the project department of Xiaobaodang are diligent, dedicated, happy with hardship. They strive hard to achieve their goals and tasks, hand over satisfactory projects for the owners, and make contribution to the development of Detong company of Dadi Group.
