How Much I love My Motherland

It seems that with the expansion of China’s economy, the social atmosphere of the whole country has also highlighted a kind of impatient and perverse atmosphere. The old people on buses beat the students who offer their seats slowly, urban management staff beat stall vendors, kid kill mother and mother abuse children, and so on, which challenge our outlook on life and values. I think as the first batch of post-90s generation, I should have a better understanding of the indignation between 80s, 90s and the hot-blooded 70s, when we calm down, should we also reflect, is there something wrong with ourselves or with our country?

For us, the motherland is more like a mother who gave birth to us and raised us. Maybe she is not beautiful and graceful, nor does she have a full-featured and salivating cooking skill. Maybe you will brazenly confront her at home and criticize her dishes as unsatisfactory, but once someone criticizes your mother, you will immediately jumps up and pinches each other. I read an article the other day, it read, “I am not going to tell you how much I love my motherland, but because of the natural existence of humanity and national justice, I can only choose to stand with my country. Perhaps at present you will feel that the corruption of Chinese officials, the malpractice of China’s political system, the low level of quality education in China’s cultural level, and the abnormal development of China’s society. But once there is a dispute between our motherland and other countries, only our country can defend our personal rights, freedom, independence and national dignity.

We often enjoy the welfare brought by the development of our country, while criticizing the unreasonable contradictions brought about by development. We often listen to biased beliefs, follow the trend blindly without independent thinking which revealed our stupidity. We can accept George W. Bush singing after George Herbert Walker Bush stepped down, but we can’t understand Kim Jong-un’s inheritance after Kim Jong-il’s death; we criticize the imbalance and inequality of our country, but ignore the racial discrimination in the United States. Today, CCTV News is also broadcasting the shooting of unarmed black teenagers by white American security guards. Black people hold large-scale protests against “no equality, no silence”. Nowadays, western countries are advocating the “China Threat Theory” and imposing trade restrictions on all kinds of commodities imported into China. I don’t understand too much big truth. I just want to say that if we want to be respected and recognized internationally, the premise must be the strength and prosperity of our motherland. Obviously, our country is trying to make this happen.

The recent US spy plan and surveillance actions exposed by Snowden in the United States have caused international public opinion to be in turmoil. In fact, the United States has implemented a two-faced policy toward China long ago. On the one hand, it is friendly cooperation in language and public opinion, and on the other, it is trade and economic restrictions. The beautiful country that claims human rights and advocates freedom is a mirage. The U.S. government stirred up uncertainty in the attitude and foreign policy of the Pacific Rim countries towards China while stirring up mud in the face of peace. Is there only official corruption and environmental pollution in China? Actually, the whole world is the same. It is like you have fallen in love with a hero. You admire him for being brave and invincible, but you know that before becoming a hero, he was once a young, shrewd, reckless teenager? Everyone’s growth has to go through the youth rebellion that dog hates, everybody hates and parents hate. Let alone a country in transition, where social contradictions are becoming increasingly fierce?

We have never lived in the war years, nor can we appreciate the ecstasy and preciousness of national independence. If you went to the Taihang Memorial Hall of the Eighth Route Army to see the atrocities of the Japanese army raging against China, you would feel that one’s dignity and freedom are based on the prosperity and strength of an independent nation. After the development of internet, there is little positive energy for us. On the contrary, some vicious news hype such as “the most beautiful girl” and “Xiaoyueyue” has won the ardent pursuit of the vast number of netizens. Does this not justify the bad habits of many young people nowadays, such as without independent thinking, not distinguishing between truth and falsehood, and being blind to obedience? You can choose not to believe the government, not to believe in the country, but you can’t blindly follow bad public opinion and other governments. In that case, you will be more sad than the narrow and short-sightedness of small farmers’ thinking. What we need in life is that we raise our head to be a person with dignity and openness, instead of focusing on a dirty place with a rat’s eyes. If you enjoy a certain superiority, you have to endure certain disadvantages. Just like you are looking at a beautiful woman who is pleasing to the eyes, will you think through her charming appearance that she is also made up from the lymph, from bacteria, from stool, from dander, etc. ?

I saw many martyrs who sacrificed for the revolutionary cause during my trip to Shanxi. If they knew it underground and listened to a lot of people cursing the corruption of the Communist Party of China while enjoying the convenience of resources brought by the Communist Party of China, the developed economy, the country’s prosperity and strength, I don’t know whether they would be angry and even come back to life again. If you are a mediocre third-class talent, you should not expect the state, society and enterprises to treat you as a first-class talent. That would be unfair to other excellent people in society. Don’t be idle and enterprising all day until the unprecedented employment pressure of 2013: I love my motherland, but my motherland doesn’t love me.

Finally, with Lin Yutang’s dedication in Moment in Peking, I would like to express my feelings for the revolutionary martyrs and the establishment of a new China. I hope we can first be an independent, autonomic, excellent and rational self, and then ask requirements for our enterprises, our society and our country.

Tears are running down when finish writing,

Which dedicated to the anti-Japanese people.

Without hero bleeding,

Who is a free people in Shenzhou?
